  • Is breakfast included/buffet style?

    Breakfast is not automatically included with every reservation, but guests can enjoy breakfast options at Tracer Coffee and full dining at Terra. Breakfast is à la carte rather than a traditional buffet.

  • How far are we from the market?

    The hotel is just a short walk from Charleston City Market, approximately 10 to 15 minutes depending on your pace. The property is located steps from both King Street and Market Street in the Historic District.

  • What's the closest beach?

    The closest beaches are Sullivan’s Island and Folly Beach, both about 20 to 25 minutes away by car. Isle of Palms and Kiawah also popular nearby options.

  • Is it safe to walk around the area?

    Yes. The hotel is located in Charleston’s Historic District, one of the city’s most walkable and highly visited areas with restaurants, shopping, and nightlife nearby. As with any city, guests should remain aware of their surroundings late at night.

  • Do we have a market on property?

    While there is not a traditional convenience market on property, guests can enjoy coffee, grab-and-go offerings, and provisions at Tracer Coffee.

  • How far is the battery?

    The Battery is approximately 1.5 miles from the hotel, about a 25 minute walk or a quick 5 to 10 minute drive.

  • Besides uber, is there another good way to get around the city?

    In addition to Uber and Lyft, Charleston offers pedicabs, bike rentals, and the free DASH trolley downtown with a stop located right outside our door across the street. Walking is also one of the best ways to explore the Historic District.

  • How do I reserve the bicycles and beach chairs?

    Bicycle and beach chair reservations can typically be arranged through the front desk or concierge team based on availability.

  • Why does the destination fee include and why do I pay it?

    The destination fee helps support guest amenities like enhanced Wi-Fi and experiences available during your stay. These include a welcome beverage at Bloo, daily $15 f+b credit, refillable water bottles, recreational offerings, hotel programming, and dining-related inclusions depending on the package and season. Destination fees are common at lifestyle and luxury hotels.

  • What's the best place to get seafood/oysters?

    Charleston is known for exceptional seafood. Guest favorites for oysters and fresh seafood include Terra, of course, 167 Raw, The Ordinary, and Chubby Fish.

  • Where do I park?/ is there a self park option?

    Valet parking is available directly at the hotel. There is not currently a self-park option on site, though nearby public garages are available including the Visitors Center Garage.

  • How much is the valet?

    Valet parking is currently $49 per night. Valet service is available 24 hours a day, so guests can request their vehicle at any time.

  • Do you allow pets?

    Yes. We allow up to two pets per room with an additional fee of $150 per stay

  • What are some good breakfast places nearby?

    Outside of our breakfast offerings, popular nearby breakfast spots include Big Bad, Breakfast, Miller's All Day, Callie's Hot Little Biscuit, and Poogan's Porch.

  • What are the best tours to take?

    Some of the best Charleston tours include harbor cruises, historic walking tours, ghost tours, carriage rides, and culinary tours. Fort Sumter tours are also a guest favorite for first-time visitors.

  • Where is the valet station?

    The valet station is located directly at the hotel entrance for easy arrival and departure assistance.

  • Are there waters in the room?

    Yes. Complimentary refillable bottled water is provided in guest rooms and ecofriendly water refill stations are located on each floor of the property by the elevators. Additional water may be available upon request.

  • What is the theme of the hotel?

  • Do the hotel have a shuttle service?

    The hotel does not currently offer an airport shuttle service, though the front desk can assist with arranging transportation options.

  • Can I order packages to the hotel?

    Yes. Guests may ship packages to the hotel prior to arrival. It is recommended that packages include the guest name and arrival date. Additional handling or storage fees may apply for oversized deliveries.
